Engaging Excellence

The Clarence L. Barney Jr. African American Cultural Center (AACC) is excited to continue the legacy of celebrating student success with the Engaging Excellence Series. A series dedicated to career readiness, leadership and student success. The AACC and Division of Engagement, Civil Rights, and Title IX welcome all Tigers to participate during this engaging month of leadership development, LSU tradition, and professional experience.

 

2026 Calendar of Events

  • February 5: MLK Live Museum 5-6:30pm at the AACC
  • February 11: Wellness Wednesday 12-1:30 pm at the AACC
  • February 12: LSU Wall Street: Pop Up Shop 5-7pm at the AACC (vendors must register HERE as space is limited)
  • February 19: Etiquette Dinner: An Employer Dining Experience  6-7:30pm at the Faculty Club (across from the AACC at the corner of Highland and Veteran's Dr)
  • February 24: EngageU: Leadership Workshop 12-1:30pm at the AACC 
  • February 25:Faculty/Staff Mix & Mingle - 12-1:30pm at the AACC
